Thrillist New YorkFrom the Bowery/Maritime guys, this ornate, faux-dilapidated, two-story ballroom rocks a low-ceilinged, English-style pub up front for all-hours drinking, plus an upstairs parlor and veranda (open in the evenings) populated with plush antique sofas sourced from yard sales/eBay, lorded over by an immense crumbling disco ball, and by a stuffed ram eternally chilling atop the fireplace. Mess you up-wise, Jane's pouring from a brown-heavy selection and whipping up custom cocktails, including the hibiscus tequila Prime Eight, the bourbon/amaro West Side, and a cucumber vodka/lemoncello combo -- called the Shofar despite it's lack of Jewishness, shofar as anyone can tell.
