With features both classic (floor-length marble bar, blue & beige-striped wallpaper) and modern (private dining room encircled by temp-controlled wine vault), the dell'Anima guys' second joint boasts both a raw bar and innovative-to-odd mid-size plates like creamy thin-sliced octopus, tripe bruschetta w/ Tuscan chickpeas, and Wagyu tongue. Tippling covers 600 mostly-Italian vinos, all-NYC suds on tap (Chelsea Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery, etc), plus a huge collection of Euro brews like Italy's Strada S. Felice and Tappeto Volante, and Germany's Einbecker Mai-Ur-Bock, literally "primitive beer" -- meaning it'd knock out Michelob Ultra with its weighty, Grolsch-like flip-cap and drag her back to its cave by the hair.
