Open bar 8-10pm; 11 Barclay St, btw Broadway and Church; Financial District
Tonight, head downtown for a two hour open Starr Rum bar and three live bands, courtesy of Jingle Punks, an NYC company that places unknown artists' songs in everything from National Parks commercials to Real Housewives of Atlanta episodes. The event's being held at The Wooly, a new, sporadically-open private event space in the basement of the historic Woolworth Building, outfitted with effortlessly vintage decor, a booming sound system, a full bar, and, on aisle three, shower caps and button licorice.
Space is limited. For admission with a +1, be among the first 50 to RSVP at jingleschmingle@gmail.com. To learn more about the space, head to TheWooly.com, and if you need licensed music/have music to license, check out jinglepunks.com.
