Pancho Gringo (now closed)

This "Mexican bistro" features a semi-circle bar surrounding a glowing blue tequila tower, plus a bi-level dining space with views into the open kitchen. "Mexican bistro" fare includes homemade soft tacos, overstuffed quesadillas (braised short ribs & pickled jalapenos, sauteed shrimp & chipotle peppers, etc), Veracruz-style red snapper, and Yucatan-style oxtail stew, all conceived by chef/author/TV personality Alex Garcia, who clearly tested all of his plumpifying recipes on Andy.
