Roll over, Grumpy Cat. There's a new perpetually frowning pet taking over the Internet -- and he doesn't look happy about it. Not one bit.

Meet Earl the Grumpy Puppy, a 5-month-old second generation Beagle and Pug mix, with a mean mug rivaling that of his famous feline counterpart.

"He has had the grumpy expression from day one," Earl's owner, Derek Bloomfield, told Yahoo News UK. "The vet said he’s as healthy as any other puppy. He just looks grumpy because of his underbite, wrinkles, and dark complexion." Or maybe he's just not havin' it, everyone.

Despite the resting grouch face, Bloomfield said lil' Earl is lovable, likes to snuggle, and from the looks of it, doesn't seem to be camera shy. And that's probably a good thing, seeing as he's gaining thousands of fans on Instagram and Facebook, which is nothing to pout about. Unless you're Earl the Grumpy Puppy, that is.
