It's almost impossible to rebel at formal occasions without looking like an idiot, e.g., wearing polka-dotted bowties and sequined cumberbunds, and drinking enough to not feel self-conscious about that sequined cummerbund. Make a statement that's not stupid, with Steampunk Cufflinks.
Punks are handcrafted cuff fasteners designed by a former Diamond District blingologist, who parlayed her handcuffed-to-briefcase experience into an accessory line sporting models like "Nihilist Post-Apocalypse Steampunk", and other such whimsy. Links all incorporate Swiss watch guts, and start w/ traditional French cuff fasteners, from Jeweled Hexagons (watch mechanism, tiny ruby insets), to Brass Lockets (gears set onto working locket bases), to a round, silver-plated pair sporting wings -- dubbed Wings of Mercury Silver, they'll draw only slightly fewer murmurs of appreciation than Wings of Steven Weber. Punk also hawks same-steezed "cuffless" links (Swiss gears, gold/silver bases, ruby insets), which slide over any shirt button, thus creating the appearance that you're wearing the only French-cuffed rayon shirt ever made.
Punk also has a large selection of other clockwork-sourced man-cessories including rings, tie clips, and biz card cases -- a far more acceptable way to make a statement than the "Sales Director and Chief Pimp" cards within.
