Allied Email: Martini Week: It's Ba-ack

Savor $11 martinis at tons of fine locales

Just in time for spring, Thrillist's Martini Week returns when the perfect cocktail is honored from April 4th-17th -- giving you two weeks to catch up with friends and talk about just how miserable the winter was, and how you're already crafting brilliant complaints for an impending grossly-humid summer.

Martini Week is a (two!) week-long celebration of America's proudest invention, held at 16 mixologically Mensa-esque bars and restaurants across town, who'll each be offering their own inventive takes for no-brainer prices -- most $11, one $8, and one $14, but it's down from $22 and it's served in a penthouse.

Vodka enthusiasts will enjoy Grey Goose renditions ranging from Abe & Arthur's sparkling-wine-topped "Bohemian Club", to The Pierre's Poire & Luxardo Maraschino "Pierre Aviation", to Rayuela's pink-peppercorn "G Cocktail", which is actually far too refined to be rated for a general audience.

Aficionados of gin: prepare yourselves for Bombay Sapphire action including Oceana's kumquat-ic "Capri", Revel's fearlessly strawberry "Bombs Away", and Double Crown's almond-syrup'd "Madam's 75", served in a Collins glass with a flaming orange twist -- also the most terrifying move ever attempted in Big East gymnastics.

Head here to download the Martini Week schedule and see a full list of martini recipes from the establishments doing the world a kindness by participating in Martini Week, the most magically temperate time of the year.
