Starting today, Mercadito's chef is kicking off a series of live cooking demos: just watch him create delicious stuff (lemon-garlic poached lobster tostada, corn-crema-covered diver scallops), then consume it along with cocktails like the Little Market (tequila, fresh pineapple, chile guajillo, pico piquín), and a tequila, rioja-pear syrup, and almond-clove liqueur number called the Missionary's [Repo]sition, which will actually have you forgetting the Alamo, and also lots of other stuff.
