Launched by two USC students who probably have really nice cars, SmartDeco's a new operation that makes IKEA look the complicated-est, turning out crazy-ultra-affordable furniture basics that're so easy to assemble, they actually require no tools, so expect Joe Rogan's calendar to open up some.
Assemble-able in mere minutes by folding at intuitively marked lines, the entire collection's just three pieces deep -- the 30"-tall, one-drawer "SmartStand," the "IntelliDesk", which includes a snap-on shield for its work surface, and the four-drawer "SmartDresser", presumably named so because it's down to sport your chic tan pleated chinos. All three are also insanely lightweight (the desk's only 11lbs), 100% recyclable, come in either the beige "Kraft" or "SmartWhite", and use a made-in-the-US corrugated fiberboard they call "Enviroboard", which features a weight-to-strength ratio awesome enough that you could actually sit on the desk, or if you really want to impress Robin Williams, stand on it.
And because instruction manuals are for dudes with wives, they've scrapped 'em in favor of very clear construction videos on their website, which Rogan would be happy to watch for you because, again, dude's mad available.
