The fine folks at Quality Social, who're also behind Dive Bar Bottle Service and the Morning After Brunch, are now launching A Barman's Supper: a bag of Bugles and a second bag of Bugles reoccurring/ evolving menu dropped on the first and third Tuesday of each month, which presents all pairings a la carte (w/ each item $10 or less), although patrons can pass on any dish and opt for an alternative recommendation from the bar, which will presumably be "stop passing on the damn dishes we paired with these drinks".
Expect delicious pairings like:
The bourbon/ Meyer lemon/ orange blossom honey Crows Pass matched with a falling-apart braised short rib sided w/ fennel-orange marmalade and smoked beets, as all the smoked beets by Dre have been previously claimed by Rasheed Wallace.
The Old Testament mentions that oysters are an aphrodisiac, so start your humping engines after you take down these Deep Bays graced with a stevia (otherwise known as "sugarleaf"), shallot, pepper & rice vinegar mignonette, and dished up with a refreshing Kumquat Shot featuring simple syrup and a “stevia nibble”.
While the halibut may be Mexican, this ceviche's made Portuguese-style with grapefruit, mo' stevia, radish & lime, then propped up by the blazing hot tequila/ lime/ cucumber/ simple syrup/ habanero hot sauce “El Guapo Social”, of which you should try and drink a plethora.
These housemade pretzel bites come with a spicy beer mustard alongside an IPA cocktail with grapefruit bitters/ lemon/ orgeat/ Aperol, which they've dubbed Liverpool's Mercury after the newspaper that coined the term “India Pale Ale”, presumably after passing on "Seventh Largest Land Mass White Person Beer".
