DSPTCH have unveiled the perfect on-the-go weekender

Packing for a weekend trip where you'll be traveling around a lot can be tough. Go too light and you'll undoubtedly forget something, or overprepare and you'll be huffing and puffing like a manic hobo up and down unfamiliar streets. The good folks at DSPTCH recognized this, and have just unveiled a solution: the Ruckpack.

Like most of the other bags in their arsenal, it draws inspiration from real tactical military gear, with a focus on a more fashion-forward aesthetic. It's a slimmed down nylon version of the traditional army rucksack, but retains many of the functional aspects, and's even equipped with a separate laptop compartment. That leaves plenty of room for everyday items (clothes, a pair of shoes, etc.) and a few smaller pockets for toiletries and other necessities.

Need another reason to sub it for a traditional weekender or nice-looking Herschel backpack? There's a special high-density polyethylene and aluminum back support system designed to reduce fatigue.

If all you need's a small piece to tote your daily essentials (a laptop/tablet, work docs, etc.), they've got you covered with another new offering: the Slingpack. Ideal as a carry-on, it's a messenger-like single-strapped rig complete with padded sleeves and even a hidden security pocket.
