A sexy bike in a box

Fully assmembled Sandwichbike

Inspired by the concept of flat-packing (and really, who isn't??), Sandwichbikes are DIY sets of smooth-riding wheels that arrive at your door in a surprisingly small box containing the sub-50 pieces (and tools) required to assemble them IKEA-style.Allegedly as easy to build as actual sammies, the rock-solid, fixed gear rigs forgo welded metal frames for "sandwiched" pieces of weather-treated, layered plywood, which get bonded together using "special cylinders". Additional components include wide tires, a standard seat & pedals, comfortable handlebar grips, and a semi-concealed drivetrain.
