Get high-tech help growing houseplants

From a crew who previously developed an innovative (and super-popular) line of auto-watering plant pots, the Smart Herb Garden's a new, black-thumb-remedying, toaster-sized, plug-in herb garden that'll flourish on your countertop with almost no assistance. It's all possible thanks to a system of built-in low-watt grow lights, special seed cartridges, and proprietary, soil-like "growth medium" -- a nanotech material engineered to supply each plant's roots with the right amount of oxygen, water, and nutrients at all times

Each rig's equipped with three compartments for simultaneously growing as many different types of herbs, and comes with a starter pack of basil, thyme, and lemon balm cartridges (though their plan's to expand offerings to include peppermint, chili peppers, and mini tomatoes). To get things growing, simply drop in the cartridges, fill up its water reservoir, plug it in, and let it works its magic. You'll have fresh & delicious herbage from each plant for 3-5 months, at which point it's recommended you replace the cartridges and repeat the process.
