The List

Hump This

Gear: Duke & Winston Tees

This Philly line's latest drop is highlighted by detailed gray-scale prints of English iconography: Sir Winston Churchill, the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, and the Gin Craze of the 1700s when "people in England drank ungodly amounts of gin and the whole country went bonkers", known in Old City as "Tuesday".

Chip 'n' Dip: Salsa Cook-Off
9pm Tues at Bob & Barbara's Lounge, 1509 South St; 215.545.4511

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a free special (mention "Thrillist for a shot of Beam and can of PBR) to wash down a slew of salsa mixes whipped up by local kitchen caperers; or, bring your own for a shot at the title and a TBD cash prize -- if you're running short on time, just pick up the Pace.

Eat: Port Fishington Restaurant Week
May 1-6 at participating restaurants (link below)

During the onetime smack-central's first attempt at such an event, grab deals at around a dozen restaurants, ranging from no-frills ($10 for Green Rock Tavern's Burger 'n' Brew; breakfast entrée, coffee, and fruit at Mercer Cafe), to some frills ($20 entrée, app, and beverage at New Wave Cafe), to “Let's spend dinner twiddling our foodie beans about how we can't believe this is Fishtown!” (three courses for $30 at Bistro Juliana or Johnny Brenda's).

Go: IndyHall 2.0 Launch w/ Mashable Mixer Philly
8pm-2am Friday at Cavanaugh's River Deck, 417 N Columbus Blvd; 215.629.7400

Grab free domestic brews, well drinks, and house wine all night at this feting of three techie happenings: Mashable's first Philly networking event, plus Indy Hall's move into a larger co-working community space and their release of Multiplex, a DVD management application that organizes and panoramically displays your collection, along with salient details and reviews. Also, the well drinks and beer are free.

Style: Wrath Arcane Trunk Show
6-10pm Friday at Matthew Izzo, 151 N 3rd St, Old City; 215.829.0606

Pop by for comp'd beer & wine and 10% off the new spring line from the menacingly stylish Cleveland label, whose co-founder'll be there to answer questions, like "What does Wrath Arcane mean?", and "Really?".
