To up visibility and perceived awesomeness, the purveyor of streetwear, sneakers, trucks, and Canadian maple pro model decks has ditched their Fishtown shoebox to occupy a far roomier, bi-level Northern Liberties space, complete with cherry wood display cases, a massive shoe-wall, and a vintage woodgrain bar serving as the register booth -- now sober, but still taking your money. Spring drops include WeAretheSuperlativeConspiracy (slick gray-and-white pinstriped zip-up jacket; turquoise tee w/ WESC logo riding azure wave) and Spike Jonze's Girl and Chocolate lines, with tees ranging from Jaws swimming up to chomp a restroom-style female symbol, to "Tell Your Girl to Stop Paging Me" -- clearly aimed at the late-80s boyfriend of Rosie Perez. Then there're footwear debuts like Emerica's black suede Francis lo w/ black cross-stitched logos; the éS Theory 1.5 cream suede mid w/ white vulcanized rubber sole; and the hemp-laced lo-top canvas Avers w/ recycling logo and ear of corn on the heel cup, cheekily designed by Rick McCrank (not just a prank call anymore).

Exit's feting their move with a 6-9pm Friday bash, with free Yards drafts, a photo exhibit, a video premiere of Traffic's "Tokyo Transfer", and a performance by local skate-punk legends McRad, who followed the maxim "Don't name yourself for the band you are, name yourself for the band Ray Kroc wants to be".
