Mayes Oyster House

Mayes is back, under new ownership and seriously classed up with chocolate brown leather booths, a refinished fireplace, and a frontal chill area bedecked with tortoise shell lounge chairs. They've got a substantial list o' single malts, and an expansive seafood menu highlighted by the "plateau" combo plate (poached prawns, chilled mussels, raw oysters, etc), Provencal bouillabaisse w/ fresh fish and seafood aioli, and the miso-glazed yellowtail, which always seems like a good choice, mostly because it's cheap and comes in magnums.
