Hump This
Eat: Toast Eatery
The Noe Valley giganta-breakfast purveyor is opening a new, chromed-out 45-seat spot on 24th, complete with 20ft stainless-steel bar. In addition to its venerated omelets, scramblers, french toast, burgers, and specialty sandos (crispy chicken, french dip, etc), this location'll be whipping up strawberry/chocolate/vanilla milkshakes. So expect to fight through a yard full of boys.
Gear: WSTSDMKT
True's just stocked its online store with a smattering of ironical pop-tees from this local brand (West Side Market, if Sajak wasn't such a jerk about vowels). Subjects range from Wesley Snipes deities to Enter the Dragon meets BMX, but the standout's "Psycho", in which a grainy Mike Tyson brandishes a kitchen knife, as it'd be rude to eat Lennox Lewis's children without first cutting them into easily chewable pieces.

Eat: Asuka Ramen & Curry
This 30-seat ramen shop sports 2- and 4-tops, a polished-wood bar overlooking the open kitchen, and a solid selection of Japanese beer/wine/sake. Appes run from gyoza to tori kara-aga (lightly-fried chicken), with mains the likes of donburis, curries, pork/bamboo/onion/miso ramens, and pan-fried yakisoba with "Japanese Worcestershire" -- beefing up your condiment arsenal with another sauce that you can't spell.
Lid: Oakland A's X Raiders?
The self-proclaimed best place to find rare New Era online has released a fitted A's cap with a silver-embroidered, black-backgrounded "Stomper" the elephant, plus a flossy metallic silver bill. Production's limited to 30, in honor of the number of elephants actually still living in the wild.
