Stay: The Barn at The Farmhouse Inn

7871 River Road; Forestville; 707.887.3311

Hoping to seduce your inner stable boy, the luxurious Russian River Valley retreat-cum-Michelin-starred-restaurant's just added a rustic, two-story barn nestled in a wooded grove. The eight suites and deluxe rooms boast sliding barn doors that separate sleeping and living areas, French doors that open onto private decks, indoor/outdoor fireplaces, and radiant heated floors that put the fire-code kibosh on the hay you're fantasizing about rolling around in. So stop it.

Summer Gear: Rebel8

Available at CC Riders, D-Structure, and True

SF graffiti/tattoo artist Mike Giant's new drop consists of a set of New Eras embroidered w/ Rebel's diamond-within-an-8 logo (in four colorways, including Giants orange/black and Raiders black/grey), plus sixteen intricately graphic'd tees sporting stuff like a heavily inked busty chick smoking a joint (wearing only socks and a wife beater), a lil' leprechaun vato pounding malt liquor (that says "Party Time Excellent"), and a severed, sickly green horse head that'll have people at The Barn running out the French doors that open onto private decks.

Dutch: Moof Cruiser Bike

New at SF-based Design Public, this sleek Amsterdam-made single speed is built for durability thanks to an extra-fat, powder-coated, rust-proof aluminum frame, and also gets grippy Kenda Cosmos tires, wishbone handlebars, and solar powered LED tail and head lights, helping you avoid testing the durability of the frame.

Eat: La Briciola

489 Third St; near Bryant; SOMA; 415.512.0300

A 49-seat Tuscan/Piedmontese joint w/ a slick granite bar (w/ 70+ Italian/NorCal vinos) and pale yellow arches overhead, Bric's dishes're both fishy and farmy, ranging from gnocchi w/ pecorino n' walnuts, to a speck- and fontina-flanked veal chop, to sea bass ravioli in a reduction of lobster, who felt reduced enough just being boiled alive.
