SF's own Me No Speak are iPhoning their ingenious point-to-picture communication aids, starting with China. Just scroll to whatever entity you'd otherwise ineptly be trying to mime (700 total...everything from "Airport" to obscure regional dishes) and up pops the appropriate Chinese characters, plus an audio translation -- perfect, since you'd really like everyone in a 10 ft radius to know you need "Toilet, promptly".
