From a NorCal expat based in OR, SD's Beer Soaps are handmade using the "hot process method", which entails melting down coconut, palm, and olive oils before mixing in lye, manning up the mixture with a healthy dose of suds, and letting it cure 'til it's ready to clean you (note: stop eating it). Options range from chunky bars of Sierra Nevada (characterized by their rich, nutty, earthy scent), to McTarnahan's Amber Ale (similar but with hints of coffee), to Guinness Stout (for a darker/richer aroma and creamy lather), to Budweiser, which is mild and suited perfectly for your King of Rears.
