Ooma Telo

With pretty much everything being free on the Internet, there's really no need to squander your hard-earned dollars on stuff like newspapers, CDs, or smut, with the exception of that series with the old guy on the boat, whose sophisticated plot lines can't be captured in a 2 min clip. Freeing up phone service, Ooma Telo.

Dropping right now outta Palo Alto, OT's a sleek looking, mad-easy-to-setup device that hooks your house phone up to the Internet, making all domestic calls totally free (and international super cheap), while bringing a sweet suite of utilities your landline never had and guaranteeing tech-enabled crystal clear acoustics that other net phone services should really consider looking into. Central to OT's awesomeness is "My Ooma", basically your device's command center, where you'll turn on/off email n' mobile notifications of OT voicemail, pre-pay international calling, and access cell phone-style logs with all incoming/outgoing calls and their duration, finally providing verifiable evidence that you can last a really long time. If you want even more, ten bucks a month gets you "Premier" service, which allows you to access voicemail from any computer or phone, forward messages to your email as MP3s, forward calls to your cell automatically, block anonymous calls, and blacklist particular callers, sending them straight to voicemail or negging them altogether, because if you can't hear the death threat, then it's not really a threat.

Out shortly's the OT handset, which triggers each of the aforementioned features with the click of a button; OT'll support up to four of 'em, which they claim's "enough for each room in your house", but don't guarantee'll be sufficient for a fat man's boat filled with sexy ladies totally doing stuff on camera for the very first time!
