From the Persepolis guys, Shalizar's a roomy, exposed-brick Persian bistro plating up traditional Middle Eastern fare, e.g., Khorest Ghormeh Sabzi (baby lamb and veggies) and Mahi Sefid (white fish filet over baghali polo). Drinks-wise, Shalizar's pouring old world wines, pomegranate cocktails (mojitos, margaritas, and martinis), and wild berry-infused vodkas steeped for six months before serving -- so you can impress everyone by declaring, "The nose says January 2008, but the peppery finish is very December, 2007".
