Tough Mudder
If powering through 16 sets of hip abductions no longer does it for you, head to Vail Lake Resort in Temecula at the end of the month for Tough Mudder, a 10-12mi obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test your all-around badassness. The event features runs through mud, fire, and ice, climbs over 12ft walls, wading through mud tunnels, as well as a kickass after-party with awards for best costumes (dress up as Gruffi Gummi from Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears!), and vouchers for both beer and tattoos (get one of Gruffi Gummi! He's an extremely skilled craftsman and mechanic!).
