Leaps of blind faith can be exhilarating to watch, which is why it's such a bummer Ric Grech decided to kill himself in another way. Taking the leap with their latest drop of shades, Chronicles of Never.
Launched by a cofounder of the hit Aussie brand Ksubi, CON's going for a less-fashiony steez with their latest collection, designed in collab with a former brand mate and titled "Into The Void/ed", inspired by some classic photo of a dude jumping off a building, so it all looks totally fly. The entirety of each frame (nosepads & temple tips included) is fashioned from thick pieces of top-qual acetate, which is treated with either a matte or gloss finish, inset with scratch-resistant nylon lenses, and pieced together with "French hinges" that fold flush, though if they're anything like their namesake, they won't work. Styles include the slightly Wayfarer-shaped "Wood Feeds Fire", with an extra wide top bar, avail in eight frame/lens matchups (khaki green & brown, blood red & grey...); four colorways of "Origin of Vastus", flaunting eyebrow-esque thick curved pieces above the lenses; plus a joint rocking tapered 1"+ temples and reverse-angled round lenses they call "Origin of Light", hopefully helping you start your own Big Bang.
If you wear clothes, a few pieces from their latest collection of duds're also available, which mostly consists of rockstar-sheer tees, the wearing of which will ensure faith isn't the only thing around that's blind.
