Opening Thursday Downtown w/ an open-to-the-public party featuring gratis high-end tequila and vodka, Sandast is the flagship of renowned Milan-born, LA-bred leather-goods brand... Sandast (!), a rustic, Indiana Jones-worthy hideout with cow-hided, archeologist-approved satchels hung on aged brick walls, stacked on tree log-supported work benches, and illuminated by an abundance of natural light, but not Natural Light, 'cause this place is classy, okay?
And because the shop's as eye-bonering as a courtside-for-Game-7-of-Lakers-Nugs Kim Kardashian (Google it, son), we've got a trove of photos of the space and its goods, which include their just-introduced Artisan Collection w/ everyday (read: less expensive) duffels and totes handcrafted with classic techniques & Italian machinery, plus hard-to-find gear like Johnson Motor tees, Gilded Age denim, and Thom Browne sunglasses, which, if the interior is any indication, should look great on your (Crystal) Skull.
