Dude Falls Overboard on Cruise, Gets Rescued by Disney Cruise Ship

One man... overboard from a cruise ship... finds himself rescued by the cruise ship of his dreams... it's this summer's heartwarming hit, "Overboard Upgrade"... or just the true story of a dude who fell overboard and was saved by a Disney cruise.

Frank Jade, 22, reportedly walked onto an open deck on the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas, when a huge wave threw him overboard eight miles off the coast of Cozumel, Mexico. Somehow nobody on the Royal Caribbean cruise -- which has yet to install automatic man overboard systems -- spotted the poor dude treading water.

But then Jade must have wished upon a star, because someone aboard the Disney Magic cruise, which was following the same route, spotted him floating. Jade was subsequently rescued and taken to a private clinic, where he was found to be in stable condition with no serious injuries.

It’s not known how long Jade was stuck in the ocean, but it was long enough for him to believe he wouldn’t survive. One thing that is for sure: Jade has to be glad he never met Sebastian the crab; otherwise, he'd have been stuck "Under the Sea" and likely never found.
