Take badass Instagram shots with these new IG city guides

For an avid Instagrammer, there's nothing quite like framing and snapping a photo that makes all your friends and followers jealous -- likes are just short of Bitcoins when it comes to digital currency. But knowing the best photo locations requires knowledge that only a local could really possess. Or now you, thanks to a new guide set up just for that -- with no human interaction required.

UK-based travel company Herb Lester has published Instagram travel guides for London, Berlin, and Paris through a collaboration with the photo-sharing giant. Comprising photos by local IGers, the guides show readers ideal and lesser-known spots they likely wouldn't see in a standard guidebook.

And by doing away with tired travel photography of the same sights in different cities -- Big Ben in London, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, for example -- the Instagram guides make for refreshing photography, too.

As Herb Lester's co-founder Jane Smillie told Marketing, "This is a real first for Herb Lester and has allowed us to create something that is not only unique, but really considers how people are becoming more and more excited by Instagram every day".
