It's totally legal to get naked in Munich again

Bavaria's nude sunbathing laws might have expired last Fall, but it didn't take Munich long to ensure its residents could keep strutting their stuff around the Englischer Garten, even if everyone else preferred they didn't. Last week, the city passed an ordinance that created six “urban naked zones” scattered about the city.

The new au naturel areas aren't physically cordoned off or even concealed from the public, and -- assuming you're good at reading long German words and/or know Munich well -- are located in Flaucher, Brudermuhlbrucke, Mittlere-Isar-Straße, Eisbach, Schwabinger Bucht, and Feldmonchinger See. If you're not strong at either, you can use this handy map compiled by The Atlantic Cities to plan your next picnic in the buff.
