Best in-flight beer news ever: Southwest to serve Fat Tire

You are now free to drink great beer about the country.

Southwest wormed its way into our hearts by offering Dr Pepper, complimentary snacks, and being totally on it when it comes to customer satisfaction. And they’ve been boarding people by numbers for years, a concept still lost on most airlines.

But their newest stunt will make us loyal Southwesteners forever -- they've announced an onboard beverage partnership with New Belgium Brewing, the eco-friendly Colorado craft brewers that bring you a ton of delicious goodness. Their most famous is Fat Tire Amber Ale, which is “toasty, biscuit-like, and malty, coasting in equilibrium with hoppy freshness”. Or as we like to say, "delicious". Remember when we ranked the airlines that serve the best in-flight booze? We may have a new winner.
