Screw hot tubs: Budapest's bath parties are the wildest water bashes in the world
We've just been pummeled with what feels like Polar Vortex XVI, and can't help but dream of warmer climes. Or, at the very least, a really hot bath. How about one with a laser show, an open bar, and bikini-clad European women? You'll find all these awesome things at one of Budapest's bath parties. Just knowing that such a thing exists should turn you up a few degrees...
These historic baths were originally built by the Romans. Those dudes knew how to party.
Who knew history could be so fun?
Parties are all year-round: check out Szecska parties at Szechenyi Thermal all summer, and Magic Bath events at Lukacs Bath during the winter.
If the lasers and smoke machines (and the fact that this is Eastern Europe) hasn’t given it away, the music at these spa-rties is obviously a mix of trance and electro. Don't forget your glow sticks.
Most of the work's been done for you -- local ladies start the party practically naked.
Kick back in the toasty 91F water, pony up to the bar, and dance like an idiot with girls like this.
Sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads would just be icing on the cake.
