The craziest items people tried to bring on planes in 2014

Because if Red Sox pitching great Curt Shilling can't even remember to stop his son from bringing fake grenades on the airplane, there's NO hope for the rest of us, the TSA held a refresher course last week at New York's JFK Airport to remind travelers about all of the things that common sense should tell them NOT to take on board. You know, like ammunition, and nunchucks, and, well, toy grenades, naturally.

And since we all couldn’t be there in person to take copious notes, here’s a short-list of some of the items.
