Originally opened as a bookstore in 1977, Academy Records in Flatiron eventually expanded into music, movies and apparel before branching out into two more locations. It is a cultural destination for music lovers, offering a vast range of genres and the ability to buy, sell and trade records and CDs. It's open seven days a week and has the largest selection of its kind in Flatiron.
