Located in a centuries-old farmhouse on an old wheat, corn, tobacco, and cotton plantation, Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails is a little slice of history in Crabapple. It’s taken its locale as a foundation for the menu and reinterpreted Southern cuisine for modern taste, using its acre of surrounds -- dubbed “Milton’s Acre” -- to grow heirloom produce and herbs to keep the spirit of the farmhouse alive. Milton’s invites you to dine on dishes like fried green tomatoes with piquillo coulis, shrimp and stone-ground grits, and molasses- and cider-braised pork shanks by the fireplace, on the outdoor deck and patio, and to sip craft cocktails at the bar in the adjacent 1930s cottage.
