Kitchen 79

New York
Thai Restaurant
$$$$

With the partnership of two chefs from the two most popular regions of Thailand (northeast and south), Kitchen 79 produces noteworthy Isaan additions to their authentic southern-focused menu. In their sleek subway-tiled, black and white themed restaurant you will find a hip, fully stocked bar and with a number of great beers on tap, that differs from the plastic deli tables and fluorescent lighting of similar Queens establishments. The delightful curry puffs and taro creme brûlée are must-tries, but good luck picking your entree from the long list of delicious options that range from familiar dishes like Pad See Ew to specialty dishes like Pad Ped Moo Pah (spicy wild boar curry).
