Garre Vineyard & Winery

Livermore
Vineyard

Like many producers in the Livermore region, the Italian Garré family has a history with wine: a black-and-white photo in the Tasting Room depicts the late matriarch holding up a glass of the family-made wine in the 1930s. Formerly a horse ranch, the compound has the feel of a tiny Italian village, with wrought iron gates, a stone-paved courtyard, a centuries-old oak tree, and an on-site cafe serving meatballs, chicken marsala, flatbreads, and salads. The mood is kept light with two full-size bocce ball courts (feel free to drink as you enjoy your free game).
