Having outgrown Arundel Mills, BBBBQ has commandeered National Harbor to showcase 60 micro-beers (Lake Placid Brewing's UBU Ale, Baltimore's Raven, Australia's Barons Black Wattle Lager...) and 40 bourbons, from small batch heavyweight Pappy Van Winkle 20 yr, to recent darling Buffalo Trace, to what-the-hell-is-this Prichard's Sweet Lucy. Also on hand: tons of BBQ vendors, live music, and a mechanical bull, plus both the "World BBQ Bean Eating Championship" and the "Miss Bar-B-Cutie" contest, judged on both appearance and knowledge of "redneck history" -- basically, results of prior bean-eating contests.
