Just arrived in DC, Orthodox's new Fall/Winter line continues to delicately straddle the artsy/manly divide with new, modestly edgy shirts, sweaters, and outerwear; as with past lines, each garment's named after an author who inspired the designer, though oddly, there is no shamefully comfortable "Dan Brown Parka". Button-downed goodness includes the checked cotton "Austin" with a double-buttoned placket, the wrinkled cotton-poly, loose-fitting "Denmar" with high collar and hoodie-style drawstring, and the military-inspired, gray "Parker", with a double-buttoned front pocket and belted dog-collar, which, ironically, would probably get you kicked out of the military. New sweater-y hotness includes the black, heavy-wool "Terrance" cardigan, with shawl collar, a thick weave pattern on the arm, and both front zipper and buttons; and the ribbed slub-cotton "Miguel" with a low v-neck and mid-sleeve epaulets (technically, elbowets).

True outerwear includes a shiny-olive, slim cut, placket'd lightweight piece, and a slightly heavier, high-collared zip-up in a sheeny blue-plaid, which'll keep you fashionably warm, like the cinnamon-pumpkin latte you're about to deliver to Mr. Lonelylentils.blogspot.com.
