The Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry Is the Easter Treat You Need

For those lucky enough to get bushels of candy for Easter as kids, one candy stands out among them: Cadbury Creme Eggs. Jellybeans and chocolate Easter bunnies are fine, but you can get jellybeans year-round, and anthropomorphic chocolates are still just bars of chocolate. But Creme Eggs? Their scarcity leaves you wanting that milk chocolate shell and viscous, sugary yolk any time of year that's not Spring. And McDonald's knows that.

Thus: the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry.

For however it struggles to stay relevant in a health-conscious society, McDonald's knows you still crave junk food. You like Cadbury Creme Eggs. You like soft serve ice cream. Combine them, and you have this dessert that packs a whopping 54 grams of sugar. For perspective: that's 17% more sugar than a can of Mountain Dew. On the bright side, it's only 383 calories.

The unfortunate reality of this dessert, of course, is that it's not sold in the US. No, you'll have to go to Australia or the UK to get one.

What we're saying is: Why the hell can't we get these in the US, McDonald's?
