Though the Rams decided to smash our hopes and dreams for another Super Bowl, LA will be buzzing with football energy nonetheless on Super Bowl Sunday. The 49ers and the Chiefs will be battling it out this year, and in a city of so many transplants, you should find equal allegiance on both sides this year.

Rather than invite everyone you know to your place to gorge on whatever mediocre stuff you bought at Vons, get out there and dive into the fray. Here are 16 Super Bowl viewing spots around Los Angeles -- from sports bars to hotels to breweries -- offering specials, deals, parties, and more in honor of the championship showdown.

The Proud Bird Food Bazaar & Events Center

The Proud Bird

Westchester
Flying home the day of the game? Hit up the LAX-adjacent Proud Bird, where $35 will snag you a “Bazaar Pass” and access to an all-you-can-eat menu of game day killers like pizza, sliders, wings, and even Bludso’s BBQ. Happy hour specials will be rolling too, with $4 beers and more.

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar (Los Angeles)

The Yardbird Southern Table & Bar

Beverly Grove
If you’re a bottomless pit when it comes to wings (never trust anybody who isn’t) Yardbird has you covered with their $25 “Endless End Zone Wings”, featuring all-you-can-eat wings, fried twice, and served with fried okra & housemade buttermilk ranch. Smoked trout roe deviled eggs, St. Louis-style ribs, specialty bloody Marys, and even a full tomahawk steak will also be on special too, if unlimited wings still ain’t enough food for you.

Rock & Reilly's Irish Pub

Rock & Reilly’s

West Hollywood
Between their new “supercharged” AV system, gigantic TVs, 20 beers on tap, 50% off specials, and free apps with the purchase of a pitcher, the iconic Sunset Strip venue should be bursting with life all day. If you’re looking to get a little crazy this year, Rock & Reilly’s is your place.

Idle Hour

Idle Hour

North Hollywood
The barrel-shaped whiskey bar from the design wizards at the 1933 Group is keeping it simple with $2 off all beers and $1 wings, but sometimes simplicity is all you need. If whiskey, beer, and wings are the ingredients of a perfect Super Bowl for you, Idle Hour is your spot.

San Francisco Saloon

Sawtelle
Though the SF Saloon hasn’t announced any specials yet, you can count on the SF sports bar staple to go absolutely bananas as the 49ers take on Kansas City. If you’re a Niners fan, this is probably where you want to be.

Imperial Western Beer Company

Imperial Western Beer Co.

Downtown
Boasting one of the most beautiful spaces to drink in LA, the craft beer and oyster hotspot from Pouring With Love (formerly 213 LA), Imperial Western has managed to avoid an overcrowding problem thanks to its semi-tucked away location inside Union Station. They’ve yet to announce their specials, but last year they had $10 pitchers and crowler giveaways on offer, so expect something similar.

The Parlor Hollywood

The Parlor

Fairfax
The food-driven sports bars with tons of screens and a patio also happens to be one of LA’s rowdiest Kansas City bars, so you can expect the place to be flooded with Chiefs fans. Like a lot of the bars here, The Parlor has not yet announced their specials, but with all the KC fans in the house, they’re sure to have plenty. Keep an eye on their Instagram.

Brennan's

Brennan's

Marina del Rey
The turtles will be resting during the game at this longstanding Lincoln Boulevard bar that got a serious makeover by Artisanal Brewers Collective more than year ago, but you won’t be. Watch all the action on the venue’s 17 screens, including a big-screen projector outside on the patio and get in on $15 pitchers of “house beer” and $5 Jameson shots during the game.

The Fields LA & Free Play

Exposition Park
The food hall adjacent to LAFC’s Banc of California Stadium (and a football’s throw from the Rams’ current home field at The Coliseum) will be screening the Super Bowl on 25+ TVs scattered throughout its two levels and outdoor patio. In addition to the usual menu offerings from vendors like Coni’ Seafood and Barbara Jean Soul Food, you can grab some beer specials upstairs at Tim Hollingsworth’s casual, game-centric bar and eatery Free Play.

Boomtown Brewery

Boomtown Brewery

Arts District
The reliable Arts District spot for terrific beer and comfy digs will be buzzy as ever for the Super Bowl this year, with discounted drinks until kickoff, deals for big plays, and food from Highland Hickory and Poutine Brothers. Giveaways will be happening throughout the game too, and between all that and the giant wall they’ll be projecting the game on, Boomtown should be hard to top.

Big Wangs Noho

Big Wangs

North Hollywood
The Buffalo wings will be a-flowin’ at Big Wings, along with its sister spots El Tejano and The Thirsty Merchant, with deals like $65 for 50 wings and $125 for 100 wings. Gather the Buffalo army: your challenge has arrived. And stay for the whole game -- there will be tons of giveaways during the fourth quarter at every location.

PRANK

Prank

Downtown
The DTLA spot that touts itself as LA’s first walk-up bar went huge last year with spin wheel, cocktails specials, and a 7-foot projector screen. Though they’ve yet to announce their current specials, check back with their Instagram, because they will be posting ‘em there.

Public School 310

Public School

Culver City, Downtown, and Sherman Oaks
This group of gastropubs will be doing happy hour all day with $5 pints and $5 wines by the glass, and a bunch of bar food options for under $10. You’ll also get a chance to win a game day swag bag and 50 percent off your whole tab if you enter some kind of coin flip contest at the beginning of the game, so go big just in case.

Brack Shop Tavern

Brack Shop Tavern

Downtown
Though they’ve yet to announce their specials, the industrial-feeling sports bar in the center of DTLA was popping last year, with wing & Heineken table packages priced by group size. If the game on TV’s a blowout, you can always hit the bar’s game room for Ms. Pac-Man, ping-pong, and shuffleboard to entertain yourself.

Hotel Shangri-La

Hotel Shangri-La

Santa Monica
Just as last year, a $55 cover will get you entry to the iconic Santa Monica hotel’s Super Bowl party, viewing on a big screen, and a burger-wings-fries-BBQ combo platter that comes with two free beers. Other food is available for purchase and buckets of four beers will go for $20.

Beelman's

Beelman's

Downtown
Let it never be said that vegans can’t pig out (pun only semi-intended) on pub grub the way carnivores can. The Asian-leaning vegan pub put out a slew of “Super Sloppy Snacks” last year that included veggie dogs, Impossible burgers, tater tots, and steak fries, all topped with vegan chili. Stay tuned on their social media channels for this year’s deals.
