What local businesses should you support in 2017? Trick question. All of them! The best way to generate growth in the islands is to, of course, support your local businesses. We know it’s tough, sometimes those big-box options are too tempting with their prices and convenience. But this is about more than saving a few minutes and a couple of bucks. It’s about supporting the community and the people who work in it. So here’s a few businesses in particular where we’re planning on dropping our hard-earned dollars in 2017.
The Christmas season in Seattle is… basically any day that isn't overcast between now and, like, April. But it's also an actual holiday that, along with Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve, inspires a wide array of holiday events ranging from boozy pop-up bars to dance parties and everything in between.

Oahu is home to some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets on this planet. The sparkling ocean makes a natural (and easy-to-access) accompaniment to nature’s mystical light show in the sky. Other days, there may be a display of pretty pastel purples and pinks blending with blues and yellows, creating the perfect romantic backdrop.
