From Italian to seafood in 72 hours

It's impressive to see people perform a quick change on something, like the NASCAR pit crew guys who swap out tires in seconds while overcoming the confusion of all being named Earl. Doing a way-rapid transformation from Italian eats to those from the ocean, Tin Can Fish House & Oyster Bar.

Amazingly morphing from Teela Italiano to a seafoodery in just three days, Tin Can's now got hanging tomato can lamps and beachy white/sea green/yellow brick walls covered with schools of metal fish, rusted license plates, and 80s-era ads of blondes pushing Virginia Slims and Black Velvet Canadian Whisky, commanding you to "Feel the Velvet" -- also what everyone in the barber shop wants to do to James Earl Jones' lion fur. Start with standard or ramped-up oysters like "Southern" style w/ collard greens, bacon & bread crumbs; half-pound pots of white, red, or Thai curry/chili mussels; seafood stew, or three-app platters that can include crawfish tails & grits, soft shell crab sliders, or crab balls -- ask for this elsewhere, and hopefully you have some prescription shampoo. Next up're fried baskets (clam, catfish, cod & chips), po' boys w/ pulled pork or brisket, surf or turf burgers (Angus, "bang bang" shrimp...), and entrees like spicy Madagascar prawns or one of 35 possible fish dinners (blackened mahi mahi, sweet-chili-brushed grouper) from their Catch of Day section, which unlike Catch of Day-O, will not be bananas.

There're four beer categories including 16oz "Trailer Trash Brews" (PBR, Schlitz, Old Milwaukee...) and bottled crafts from GA (Laughing Skull, Red Brick Pale...), as well as "White Collars" like Rogue Mocha Dark Ale and Southampton Double White. You can also hit the ice cream chest for a Starbucks bar, a Klondike, or a Popsicle, a favorite of NASCAR pit crew guys who live deep in like their desserts on the sticks.
