Thai Tara chef moves to Brodie

Despite the "CK Thai" signage, the Brodie Lane eatery is now Im Thai: a pastel-walled spice-lovers paradise accented by green concrete floors and dark-stained bamboo, and staffed by nearly the entire crew behind defunct downtown favorite Thai Tara. They're dishing out Tara's fiery specialties, as well as new signature seafood items served in fish-shaped heated iron pans, like the Cheu Chee (crispy fried whole bass w/ bell peppers in coconut red curry) and the Pia Pad Prik, a crispy catfish stir-fry with basil, bell peppers, and lime leaves in Thai chili paste, tastier than Elmer's, but not as effective with construction paper.
