Gunnar Garfors

Gunnar Garfors (b. 1975) is a globetrotter. Really. He has visited every country in the world, and recently published a book about it; 198: How I Ran Out of Countries. But properly visiting every country wasn’t enough, he likes fun travel stunts too. The Norwegian has visited 5 countries on 5 continents in just one day (a Guinness World Record), been to 19 countries in less than 24 hours and all 19 counties in Norway in the same amount of time (two additional world records). And he is the youngest to have visited every country without quitting his job. Garfors has three brothers and three sisters and was born in Hammerfest, the northernmost city in the world. The restless soul grew up in the tiny village of Naustdal on the stunning Norwegian West Coast, no wonder he developed itchy feet.
