Summer has lived in Hawaii almost her entire life, except for the three years she spent in Chicago getting her master's in writing and publishing and discovering the true meanings of "wind chill" and "Vitamin D deficiency." When she’s not rooting for Chicago sports teams (except the Cubs), she's usually stretching her hamstrings in downward dog, training to run super slow half marathons, or trying to figure out how all that sand keeps getting in her car.
