More than just a Blue Hole, small-town hippie-haven Wimberley is now boasting Belgians created by a retired geologist with 21yrs of sudsmithing experience, who'll also be sharing his knowledge via a cache of homebrew supplies, as well as classes on beer appreciation, magically transforming a reason for skipping into a reason for attending. They've installed a treehouse-esque, two-story back patio for sipping their own recipes, including a dry-and-earthy Saison, a ruby red Abbey-style Dubbel with hints of raisin and caramel, and a dense-headed Belgian Pale Ale; they'll also host like-minded taps such as Torpedo, Prima Pils, Duvel, and Hennepin, which is brewed on a former New York hop farm.
