Soft-opening this Saturday underneath Hawksmoor's original Spitalfield steakery, HSB's laid out with old-school glazed brickwork, alcove booths, and a copper-top bar. They're marrying a finger-friendly menu (dogs, fried oyster/lobster rolls, French-dipped bunned shortribs) with original twists on old-school 'tails, like a Julep made with home-infused pineapple bourbon, and an Old Fashioned laced with tobacco, because nothing's more old-fashioned than telling a gentleman to drink his cigar.
