Cocktails with Grant Achatz

A decidedly Alinea-esque take on the cocktail lounge from Grant Achatz and Co., Aviary's candelabra-style fixtures illuminate semi-enclosed booths where you can sit during a repast of kitchen-crafted libations, from flights of barrel-aged Martinis to a riff on the Moscow Mule called the Ginger, in which patrons themselves pour a vodka/ water/ sugar mix over snow-like "ginger ice", proving that when Scalabrine's that cold, virtually anyone can pour it in on him.
