Opening this week in the old Pizza Republic space, Dante offers a slightly more upscale pie vibe, slinging apps like arancini and stuffed peppers w/ risotto and fresh mozz, along with sandwiches (eggplant parm, steak & cheese, pesto grilled chicken), and gourmet pizzas like the rabe (broccoli rabe, roasted pepper, sausage, garlic) and the potato/bacon/scallion, cream-encrusted L.A., presumably short for "Louie Anderson".
