Woodward Tavern

Opening Friday in the new Ames Hotel, this sleek two-floor/two-bar, fireplaced tavern serves up signature plates designed for sharing like rock shrimp w/ olives, garlic, and tomato; short rib pot roast w/ carrots; and a lemon and olive oil-doused loin of cod, as well its own Smuttynose-brewed Woodward Ale by the growler, and cocktails like the St. Germain and gin-mixed Model Behavior, so expect your drink to order a side salad with lemon, then run to the bathroom, then come back nine minutes later and ask you for gum.
