Childhood nostalgia's a difficult thing to recapture, as anyone who's ever been escorted from a ball pit in handcuffs can attest. Relive your halcyon days in a more acceptable manner, with Play Cloths
The first collection from hip-hop duo Clipse, Play bestows adult-friendly casual wear with kid-tastic homages, notably its logo of a running lad decked in proper English clothing & a Sherlock Holmes cap (either up your nose, or through your veins...). Tee highlights include a black w/ white lettering "Our Gang!"; another with pastel red, blue, and yellow exclamation points; big multicolored block letters spelling out "Play Cloths"; and red and black numbers flaunting Big Wheel renderings, which'll make you feel like the man 'til your best friend gets a Pow-Pow-Power Wheels man-tank. Slightly more growned up are black and white polos with Sherlock-kid crests, a black leather varsity jacket, zip up hoodies w/ contrast plaid accents and snapable hand pockets, and a black & thin white striped rugby shirt with a marathoner bib reading "1977" (post Prefontaine makes you...Fontaine?)
Accessory-wise, Play's got logo'd black scarves, red and black belts with adjustable silver buckles, and knit skullies in two styles: one sporting a red pom and fat stripes, and a solid black number you can pull down over your face to shield your identity as you're perp-walked out of Chuck E. Cheese.
